101 Reasons to Write

List as many reasons to write as you can think of in five minutes and then share them with each other!


Here is 101 reasons to write...

#1. To fill up book with wordy-thingies

#2. To know Bad stuff is good stuff because you wrote stuff

#3. Do you like to write murder, pain and eternal suffering???? Yes? so write it!!!

#4. Because your writing is hot like potato crisps

#5. Because you love your characters and want everyone to know about them.

#6. To make Delirium useful.

#7 It is a good excuse to horde all kinds of stuff and things and use them later

#8. It makes the Procrastination productive.

#9.Because you get to watch the reaction from the people.

#10. It keeps you out if trouble

#11. Because killing in real life is illegal

#12. You love words and they love you back (sometimes).

#13. The endless possibilities!

#14. Because your letter to Hogwarts didn't come, the Doctor hasn't told you to "run," You're not a half-blood, and you're still waiting for Gandalf to show up at your door when you are 50.

#15. You wanna sell and publish

#16. Its a good excuse for a new computer.

#17. You get to be anything and everything!

#18. Because what else are you going to do?

#19. Because you can become immortal that way and leave something behind when you pass away

#20. No one can write like you write

#21. Because if you don't write it someone else might and they will do it wrong.

#22. Because it keeps you sane (mostly)

#23. It's an itch that never goes away unless you write.

#25. You love writing (don't deny it)

#26. Because your characters aren't done with you

#60 no one can tell a story like you can tell it

#73 to make someone stay up all night to finish your book

#94 it absorbs everything, the pain, the joy, the tears, the fear the uncertainty, the insecurities, confidence, and best of all imagination.

#95 is a good excuse to drink caffeinated beverages

#96 sleep is for the weak anyway

#98 so you can share your work

#99 because the harmony between plot, characters and setting is beautiful.

#100 you don't have to be good at it, you don't have to be perfect at it, you just have to be yourself.

#101 you should write because there are over a hundred reasons to.
